Welcome to my journal!

I'm Allie and um.. I'm nice :)

I'm an 18 year old tree hugging tea addict and I like all sorts of things and try to make the most of life.

I keep my journal because I find it therapeutic to write, interesting to look back on and hear peoples views on what I write.

I have my journal linked to www.sleepydust.net, a fabulous website created by a fabulous person and together with sleepydust I hope to raise awareness of ME/CFS and help sufferers feel they're not alone, and carers, friends and relatives of patients to understand a little more of what it's like.

I suffered from ME/CFS for 2 years, an at my worst was in a wheelchair, couldn't dress or wash myself or eat solid foods. I'm well on the way to recovery though, and enjoying a brand new and exciting world.

It was horrible, but I wouldn't change my experience for the world

which is a great site making scarves for cancer patients who've lost hair in chemotherapy or aren't well enough to wash it or whatever.
